Freevo is an open source home theatre PC platform. It provides all of the features you would expect of any HTPC/media center such as being able to watch TV either terrestrial or from DVB sources. Pausing and recording TV based on on-line TV guide is also a part of Freevo's feature set - as it is on any DVR (digital video recorder). With Freevo you can also watch all of you videos either download or transferred from you digital camcorder. Playing CD and DVD - and even ripping/copying the content to the harddisk can be done. |
